My name is Joe Gullo and I am a gaming analyst and writer. I grew up in the Portland area and have always had a passion for console gaming. It started in 2006 with my first Game Cube and has only grown with each new console generation. Until March 2026 I was living and working in Japan as a teacher and found myself consistently fascinated by my students’ thoughts on video games and how they differed from the perspectives of people I had worked with in the United States. I started writing reviews and tips for games as a fun way for my students to practice English and fell in love with the process.
This site was created to showcase the articles that I have written in 2026 and will be consistently updated with new content. My hope is that my international experience and time spent analyzing gaming trends will result in reviews that are approachable and clear for readers from all walks of life. I love video games and want to help players find games that are fun and interesting for them.
